A forgotten battle..... Sun, 19 April 2020 18:00

Hello friends I hope you are all well.
In line of JD Rommel I had a shot at a new scenario.
This is a historical scenario you might like to try out.
I watched a documentary recently and wasn't aware that this was the
bloodiest battle at the end of the Liberation of Belgium.
Some numbers:
The 15th Scottish Division between September 13 and 24 casualties 914 amongst 112 Death, 644 Wounded and 158 missing.
50th Northumbrian Division and Nottinghamshire Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry lost also in big numbers, the tank regiment lost 13 tanks 11 not possible to repair.
On German side in the Geel area alone 416 graves and many wounded or taken elsewhere.
130 civilians at least also lost their lives from German and Allied shelling.
In all approximately 1000 to 1100 lives lost.
The memoir44 editor is hard to reflect the correct troops and rules so….
I made a vassal version of this scenario those who want, drop me a mail and I send it with pleasure.
The bridges extend the road bonus move like played at the D day landings.
Take care now
