Results Analysis Spreadsheet

On my M44 homepage I have added a project for (a simplified version) of the spreadsheet I use to analyse my results.
Follow the instructions and you will have your results analysised by side, front and scenario.
It is provided without support, though I will attempt - time permitting - to answer questions.

Why does your sheet include the "Battle of Tilly-sur-Seulle"? As far as I know, this map is still listed as SFTF, not official.

I recall that scenario was on the official list for a few days before being taken off. I managed to play it once or twice, Phread probably did also.

I doubt that there is any "probably" about it

Are you sure? I've been keeping track of all official scenarios (not only those used by the online game, but all in the DoW database) for years, and I can't remember Tilly being on it. There are many maps by jdrommel that are official without being online, but I can't remember a map being online without being official.

Yeah, it was at a guess 2 years ago almost. I was on the list after one of the 'updates' (in the days when they were thick and fast) it wasn't there for too long before it was removed, as if it had been released as a mistake. I hope someone backs me up on this !!! Old age does not come alone

Your memory served you right. Apparently, both "Radzeichov" and "Tilly sur Seulles" accidentally appeared as official scenarios for just a few hours. The incident was discussed here:
http://www.daysofwonder.com/de/msg/?goto=222733#msg_222733
It seems as if Jacques originally intended to upload them as SFTF, and this error was corrected as soon as it had been discovered.

I've been using an access database to keep track of the official scenarios I played. This way e.g. I could print every now and then a list which battle I still had to win as an Lt Colonel.

P.S.: Yesterday I won the last battle of the list and after 3 more games/wins against cadets I got my promotion.

I went back through my officer career webpages to find the battles/scenarios at which I was promoted.
Now, using my spreadsheet, I can extract the scenario I played at any rank and perform any analysis I want with that data.

Being the number nerd that I am I have a spreadsheet filled with the data we get from DoW but with two extra columns, one with my rank and one with my opponents.
If I want to know stuff I can get everything or all of a given rank and then use it as input for Phread's sheet. This has proved helpful on a number of occasions.
I have been using Phread's spreadsheet a little longer than this thread exists because I asked for and got Phread's spreadsheet a while back. But it is never to late to say thank you is it.

Good job Phread. I did also a Spreadsheet similar to yours with a comparison for each scenario between the player victory rate and the average victory rate.
For those who could be interested, the file can be download form my Perso page :
http://www.daysofwonder.com/fr/mypage/954955/m44/story
Paste your Export files from Dow in the first sheet from column D. Then, copy the formulas in column A to C until the end of the selection (take care than there's only some "1" numbers in column C).
In the second sheet, you can see your result (the new maps are not included yet )
