Wernerus and I played 4 games today, we are tied 2-2

many informations missing, wernerus disappeared after the last game ( he probalby collapsed like onyx after our games, why don't men collapse in real life ? Laughing Laughing Laughing )

First game : no screenshot, very bad conditions for my concentration ( my daughters crying , my husband shouting, perfect !!!! Mad Sad Mad Evil or Very Mad Mad Shocked Mad )

Wernerus Smile : LA / MIAMI and "I don't remember" ( failed ) : 114 points
Léachris : LA /NEW-YORK and MONTREAL / ATLANTA ( failed) : 100 points

wernerus completed very fast LA/MIAMI and put 6's , 5's and 4's everywhere , I didn't have time enough to complete my second ticket

Second game :

Wernerus Smile : ??? and ??? : 116 points
Léachris : NEW-YORK/ ATLANTA and BOSTON /MIAMI : 88 points

Good blocks, but then I see you apologized for it. Such a nice little blocker. Wink Wink

Go Lea!! I'm rooting for you in this one.

I played two games today with thaddäus, games are now 1-1.
Thad plays really well, like I knew beforehand.

1st game
pilke: Boston-Miami, Toronto-Miami, tickets: 22, longest route 10, 109
thaddäus: Montreal-Atlanta, Montreal-New Orleans, tickets: 22, 99

2nd game
pilke: Seattle-LA, WIN-Houston, tickets: 21, 106
thaddäus: LA-Chigago, SSM-oklahoma, tickets: 25, longest route, 124

Thad played really well. She was faster when taking the 6s we both needed in both games. Fortunately she promised that in next games she will let me have the 6s I need, if I tell them to her beforehand.

My husband destroyed the print screens I took from games Sad (I let him use the computer quickly after the game, and he closed the Photoshop CS program where the print screens were open without saving)

Argh, Pilke!

This was my worst and most frustrating game ever.
I am looking forward for the next game...

So, Raz and I just played two games. Neither one of us took screenshots.

First game:

Raz: He had Denver-Pittsburgh and he did not remember the other one, but some 11 point ticket, maybe Winnipeg-Littlerock..... I´m just quessing....

Anu: I had Toronto-Miami and Denver-ElPaso. What a tickets.....

I got the longest route, but it was not enough.....
Raz won this game 101-99.

This game was really hard one, I think to both of us. Not so many 6s, as usually.

Second game:

Raz: He had Denver-Pittsburgh and Winnipeg-Houston

Anu: I had Vancouver-Montreal and NY-Atlanta + longest route

Anu won this game 123-80

The reason why I won this game, was that I got many 6s and Raz could not block my way, eventhough he tried, but I was lucky to have so many choises.

So, now it´s 1-1.

Both games were good and especially the first one made both of us thinking our routes really hard.

I´m looking forward our next games. Smile

Games are now: pilke 3-2 thaddäus

4th game
pilke: NY-SEA, Calgary-Phoenix, tickets: 35, longest route 10, 132
thaddäus: NY-LA, SF-Atlanta, tickets: 38, 116

5th game
pilke: NY-SEA, WIN-Little Rock, tickets: 33, 112
thaddäus: WIN-Houston, Calgary-Salt Lake City tickets: 25, longest route 10, 118

In 3rd and 4th we didn't need the same 6s. But in 5th we needed and again it was Thad who got them. I just don't know how I am so bad in timing. Fortunately I adapted well to the new situation with totally different route, but it wasn't enough this time.

The third game finally I got a chance and won it 114 - 101
The fourth game ahead Jac_ with 102 - 99
The fifth Jac_ again 101 - 88
The sixth game rabbit blocked so hard Wink it can be seen in the his winning result of 56 - 45
NOW it all being even
The sevent game I clearly had more luck and won the Round with 126 - 109

The screenshots I will post later.

I just saw an absolutely hilarious lie but I can only re-establish the truth here.
I saw that rudekid put me in his stas as # 18 to increase his stats against top ranked players.
Don't forget that I was a NEWCOMER when we played .
One more lie Laughing

Re:2nd tournament - 2nd round matches Sun, 12 June 2005 21:16
My series with bassie finished last night (this morning for him). It was a terrific matchup that went the distance and was decided by a single point in the end. Unfortunately neither of us took screen shots and I didn't take any notes. Here are the results:

Game 1: 97-71 for bassie
Game 2: 93-65 for rek
Game 3: 129-102 for bassie
Game 4: 94-78 for bassie
Game 5: 121-110 for rek
Game 6: 124-81 for rek
Game 7: 128-127 for rek

None of the first six games was very close, but the last game was very exciting. We tied for longest route and on bassie's last turn it was clear that he had the lower valued tickets and would lose. He drew tickets and got one that was already completed, I think we were both very unsure of the outcome until the final score was displayed.

It was a very enjoyable and good spirited series that could have easily gone the other way.

Game 1 thekid 133 unknowiac 109

I have Vancouver-Montreal and Portland-Nashville. He has Seatlle-New York and Helena-LA. He gets cut off at Port-Sea and can't make it to LA.

Game 2 thekid 120 unknowiac 96

I have Seattle-NY and Dallas-NY. He has LA-Miami, LA-NY and Sault Ste-Nashville. Blocked him from completing the last ticket.

Game 3 unknowiac 86 thekid 56

He has Seattle-LA and KC-Houston. I have Portland-Phoenix and Calgary-Phoenix. He blocked great and I didn't have a chance to get close to either Portland or Calgary.

Game 4 thekid 104 unknowiac -3

I have Duluth-El Paso and LA-Chicago. He has Vancouver-Montreal and Seattle-NY. Blocked him mercilessly and closed him out before he could get close. I didn't complete the LA-Chicago ticket.

Game 5 thekid 101 unknowiac 72

I have Seattle-LA and LA-NY. He has Seattle-NY and Duluth-El Paso. Blocked him well again to take a really long path to complete the Seattle-NY ticket. I didn't complete Seatlle-LA.

Fun series. Thanks again unknowiac.

Next.

Re:2nd tournament - 2nd round matches Tue, 14 June 2005 21:26
osamu's currently up 3-0 on me.

Game 1: I had SSM-Nashville and NY-Atlanta, he had Winnipeg-Little Rock and SSM-OKC, I believe. He took an insane route to connect and I was all the way on the east coast, so it was an easy win for him. I actually drew and completed Duluth-Houston but failed Duluth-El Paso.

Game 2: I had Winnipeg-Houston and Vancouver-Santa Fe. He had Van-Mon and Seattle-NY. Another easy win for him since I played my blacks early, rendering me unable to block.

Game 3: I had Winnipeg-Little Rock and Boston-Miami (I threw away KC-Houston). He had LA-NY and LA-Chicago. For some unknown reason I let him take the six gray track, which made it impossible for me to get to Winnipeg before the game ended. Another easy win for him.

I only made one obstruction to him in all three games and he got around it for one fewer point. This allowed him to complete quickly and then rack up points, not to mention destinations weighing heavily in his favor. I made some stupid moves myself to allow him to do this, too. Hopefully I'll have my head in the game for the next four. =)

Hello,

last but not least ( I hope ), El Soyokaze and I had three matches today. I won all of them, but i had a lot of luck.

1. Game 122- 74
I do not remember which ticket we had, perhaps ElSoyo knows it.

2. Game 148 - 105
I had Seattle-NY and Vancouver-Montreal, and he couldn't block me.

3. Game 135 - 82
I had NY-LA and Chicago-LA. He had Miami-Boston and another stupid ticket.

We will finish our duel tomorrow.

---------------

P.S. I just saw ElSoyo was faster than me, reporting our matches.

---------------

Friday: We finished our game.

4. Game: ElSoyokaze beats osamu 131 - 93

5. Game: osamu beats ElSoyokaze 115 - 103

Summary: osamu 4 - 1 ElSoyokaze

It was very nice to play against you, ElSoyokaze.

osamu

And osamu takes our series.

Game 4: I had Van-Mon and Calgary-Salt Lake. He had Winnipeg-Houston and KC-Houston. I threw a wrench in his gears when I took the six brown track while he was one short. After connecting Van-Mon I racked up points completing my other destination while he went around finishing his tickets. He drew Portland-Phoenix at the end and failed it.

Score was 131-93.

Game 5: My heart sank at seeing my tickets yet again. LA-Miami, Seattle-NY, and Winnipeg-Houston. There wasn't the slightest bit of overlap in any of them, so I kept LA-Miami and Winnipeg-Houston to avoid getting blocked as much. osamu had Duluth-Houston and KC-Houston. I started with the six black, he followed with the six green. I hoped going around wouldn't cost me too much time and points, but it did. We both worked up the middle, but he had much more flexibility and was able to take a longer track for more points.

Score was 115-103.

Congratulations to osamu!

Finally Optimus and me played our 2nd round matches today

Short sumary

1st game: 116-67 (we forgot to take screenprints) it was a major blocking in the east cost region with the better outcome for me. Optimus picked up tickets on last draw, but wasn't lucky.

2nd game: 110-102
sorry - forgot the details

3rd game: 124-96
I had LA-NY and Dallas-NY, Optimus had LA-Miami and Duluth-Houston. I won the game by taking the black 6 on which Optimus was heavily relying. Longest route went to me.

4th game: 126-113
I had Van-Mon and St.Marie-Oklahoma. Optimus had Denver-El Paso and Seattle-NY. All tickets were finished and Optimus made my life hard by nearly blocking me off Vancouver. It was very close and longest route went to me.

Womble 4 - Optimus 0

Optimus will post the screenshots.

Please add and correct whatever I forgot.

I really enjoyed playing with you Opti and thanks for your patience due to my rare avalibility this week.
