Last Java Update blocking TTR	Wed, 15 January 2014 07:09

Hi guys, Ommie, Tinman and I had the to solve the same problem today. In case some of you do not know how to solve the issue and have some League matches to play today ! A security message may block the access to TTR after you installed the last Java update. Go to your Control Panel, then click on the Java icon. Click on the Security tab. And yes, Knockando - annoying bug but at least I was still able join the lobby.

TADAAAAAAA - after putting almost every page into that site it finally works now.

Try researching 'configure java for mac'. It took me an hour to figure this out yesterday, but I don't have a mac... annoying p.s. the address added to allow the application to run has to be exactly http://games.ticket2ridegame.com. Dow uses 2 different servers and just using daysofwonder.com doesn't work. pps... here's what i found To launch the Java Control Panel on Mac OS X (10.7.3 and above): Click on Apple icon on upper left of screen. 1st you need to have java 7.51. After that like Sysyphus said in 1st post : Go to your Control Panel, then click on the Java icon. Click on the Security tab. Can't get in on my Mac. I've been running Java 6 because Java 7 and later updates didn't work with Mac and TTR on Chrome. Do I need to update Java now or will that create more problems? Olle: I also don't have a Java icon in my system preferences so the Mac help given doesn't help. More than confused here. I tried installing Java 7 again but it didn't work on Chrome (expected) nor Safari (unexpected). It DID give me a Java icon in my system panel. But since nothing could be fixed with that I uninstalled Java 7 again. Back to Java 6 for Chrome's sake. Could really use some help here. Thx! I am a Mac user, I play with the TTR app, it works. dizz : just download the app in the download center ! (go to to your account / your downloads etc.. you'll find a TTR app for Mac). A bit different from the web version but all informations are inside for good competitive play [Reporter ce message au modérateur]

After the java update blocked me out and killed my Chrome... I went for a day trying to reinstall Chrome without success. I gave up and installed Firefox. When I tried to enter the lobby, he just asked me if I wished to make en exception for TTR applet.... He asked me twice... but now I am in!! I am having same problem. Updated Java on my desktop and none of the suggestions above helped. Though it went from not loading at all, to loading the top banner ad just nothing else. Good thing I didn't update on my laptop. [Reporter ce message au modérateur]

I just updated Java to version 8.45 I think. If you use Chrome, Google has recently disabled some plug-ins related to Java. After the update, if you can not go on TTR online, try the following process: In your URL bar, enter: chrome://flags/#enable-npapi Click the Enable link for the Enable NPAPI configuration option. hi xbomanx you have to change your nameserver in your connectionsettings for a short amount of time. Set it to 8.8.8.8 (google nameserver) and you can join again. cu, Beka [Reporter ce message au modérateur]

Sadly I am still having the problem despite adding the approved sites and trying everything I know to try. I have IE still because this is a work computer and I am not allowed to change everything on here. Any other ideas?? I'm still stuck! Brad I downloaded Firefox and I am still unable to get in.
