As you are refining the new version of Ticket to Ride, here are some suggestions:

1. The chat is way to small to see. Maybe give a way to enlarge the text.

2. You can't see the number of people in a game (the white on green contrast is awful).

3. You should have "no timer" as the default. Also, give a timer per move rather than a timer per game - similar to what you had before by adjustable. The whole game timer makes it so we end up playing with bots too much when it is not necessary. I am a fairly fast player, but it becomes very distracting.

4. It is not obvious where to go to set up a custom game. Lobby is not an intuitive title.

5. I get a Client Timeout error a lot. I think this happens most when I try to text someone to come to the game, but it happens other times too. You can't really do anything else on the phone while waiting for the game (at least on a Note 3 and S5).

6. The chat in the actual game is ridiculous. Not only is it too small to see, but the contrast is like 10%. Give an option to make it a readable size, and make it black.

7. It doesn't show the number cards you have in the phone layout.

8. Put the players back on top so you can tell where the cards are going without looking too close (when they deal the cards to the top you can tell whose turn it is by the direction of the cards, now they all look like they are going to the same place). Now that the map can automatically enlarge, you can make it a little smaller. Make the trains remaining, cards in hand, and routes bigger. I don't mind having to make an extra click to see the ranking, but you should have to do this to see the critical game items.

9. Can't do anything else on your phone while playing without getting kicked out. My alarm went off during the last game, and I got kicked out.

10. There is no enter button in the individual game chat.

There are a few other things I can't think of now. I will post later.

Oh. One important thing, sometimes the game stops/freezes after the last play without showing the scores. Then when you leave you lose karma when you leave.

BUGS:

1. I keep getting error and it kicks me out. Caused me to lose the game. Arg.

2. I also get an error: server didn't respond to clocks.

3. The turns don't go in order of the people on the screen.

4. The timer doesn't spot changing until halfway through the next player. Also, it keeps going through all of the ridiculous animations.

5. Routes don't always select when you click on them.

6. The game filters don't stay selected on the tablet version. It stays on the phone version.

7. Doesn't replace the name when a robot is playing. I don't know if this was purposeful but it very annoying to have to keep track of who is real and who is a computer. Also, if they came back or not.

8. (suggestion) On the phone view there is plenty of room to show the number of cards and routes the player has left if you leave the players expanded (like when it is their turn). Even if you have a 5 player game there is enough room. Otherwise there is a lot of wasted space under the players.

You need a way to see how many people have already joined a given game so you can tell which is the best to join based on how long you want to wait.

Hi,
I continue the list of issues (ticket to ride digital new version)

I have an ipad version and a kindle fire hd 7 amazon version ( I suppose android version) and I have the following problems

In the kindle '7 version the chat is very to small to see
in the kindle version logout button is missing, I can't change my days of wonder' profile

the local game does not work, I can't see my other device, and on the rare occasions it work I get an error

sometimes the game stops/freezes after the last play without showing the scores

In the kindle version (amazon) :
in one of my device (I have 2 device) I haven't all the map I paid times ago (yesterday I upgraded to the new version)
the restore purchases button is missing

Local play flat out doesn't work, PERIOD. I have iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fire in this household, and NONE of them see each other. The Kindles occasionally can see the iPad games but can't join without a network error.

Meanwhile, the screen says:

"There's no open games in your local network"

This is HORRID grammar. It should read

"There ARE no open games ON your local network".

Also, putting the tickets cards next to the train cards was a really bad idea. It's bad enough on an iPad sized screen, with it being very easy to grab the wrong pile. On an iPhone screen, it's especially difficult to get the right one.

And because that wasn't enough, my previous map purchases are all gone, never to be restored again.

Who in QA fell asleep on the job on this release? This is pitiful.

I also can't get local mode to work on any of my devices. IPad kindle fires, etc. I can't logout of my profile on kindle fire so I can't join the same room with two kindle fires since they are the same profile.

Thank you for your comments and suggestions! We are listening and are working on improving Ticket to Ride so that the app will look more like what our players had loved to use during the past years and your suggestions are helpful.

We know there are a few stability issues in some specific cases, that we are fixing as fast as we can. Android and Steam users should expect updates on a regular basis (we already delivered a hot fix on Android and are working on the next one). On iOS, updates will be also delivered on a regular basis and scheduled according to the Apple application approval process timeline. An update on Ticket to Ride Pocket is already on its way.
