The current version of Ticket to Ride on the Mac App Store is completely broken and won't even open. It's been like this for two months with no update in sight. 1-star reviews are piling up. Meanwhile, the support form on your web site for the Mac App Store version isn't operational. This is pretty appalling treatment of your Mac customers.

We are aware that some users are having trouble with some of the digital platforms. We are working hard internally to get everyone back online and playing this amazing game and we appreciate your patience; sorry it's taking so long for some of the issues to be resolved.

Let me assure you that we have no plans to drop support for any of our platforms and our goal is to have everything working smoothly as quickly as humanly possible! Thanks for your patience and understanding.

It's more than just "some" users. Check the reviews on the Mac App Store. The Mac version literally won't even open for anyone, and it's been like this since December.

Three months and counting?! This is beyond absurd.

Agreed, and sadly that is less time than some of the issues I've been chasing down and submitting bug reports for. Rolling Eyes

There have been problems (likely multi-platform, server based issues) with lost invitations (reported in August, issues dating farther back) and aborting multiplayer games every time a bot is involved (at least since November, if not before).

Sadly I think the developers are spread too thin and release schedules for new apps and/or revenue generating add-ons are placing existing bugs in the back seat. The Germany map still suffers from issues that were present upon its release, as well.

While I love having more maps, I'd love it even more if existing maps and the multiplayer system worked properly. I bet there would be more sales of the app AND add-ons, too.

Works for me. Macbook pro 2012 13''. OSX 10.12.4
Hangs some times at launch or while changing board or moving through topics, never while playing (only at launch of a game some times).
Not worse than the IOS or Android version.
However expecting new boards. There is some large catchup against the real world game.
AI needs more clever but more fair gaming. Some bots are nearly playing against their interest while other seem to count on these opportunities for very hazardous bets.

One-star reviews continue to rack up on the Mac App Store.

Users continue to report that the game literally won't even open, a problem that's been known since LAST YEAR.

...and still, no update. Inexcusable.

OSX 12.5. Not only it works but seems to work better with very few crashes. So looks like kind of little OSX problem solved by Apple not DOW.
I still don't understand what makes my OS X better.

For the devs : mind to look into what I'm posting here.

I have very few things installed on my Mac. It's kind of all original, but it's been updated since Mac OS X 10.8, every little update and OS upgrade. This, on the contrary, shouldn't be in favor of stability like any fresh install from scratch.

But I'm also installing and updating Xcode and QT 4 and 5 on y Mac.

To the dev : whether you use Xcode or QT, mind to avoid linking compiled code to any library from those development tools you wouldn't install and link with the game. People who don't install those dev tools may be unable to run your game on OS X.

Let all the people with trouble on OS X explain if they install Xcode or not, and eventually QT. I'm just betting this may be the difference between those with troubles or those without.
