Ticket to Ride Germany Sat, 15 April 2017 20:35
The site says that Ticket to Ride Germany is going to be for sale at Gen Con.

Does anybody know if it will be for sale anywhere else in the future?

I'd like to get this version, but can't make it to Gen Con.

Usually if something is available at GenCon, that's just the 'launch' and the first place it's available. Days of Wonder doesn't do any convention-only releases, so TTR Germany will certainly be available to everyone after GenCon.

Anyone any idea how this differs from the Maklin edition (other than the standard cards replacing the Marklin cards)?

Yeah, you don't have stacks of tokens at the various cities like in Marklin. Instead, you have meeples (passengers) and as you complete routes you get to claim passengers to get a majority in various colors for bonus points.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have other questions or check out the rule over here: https://www.daysofwonder.com/tickettoride/en/germany/

Have fun!

does anyone knows what is the difference between Zum um Zug Deutschland (the version that appeared some years before in Germany and Austria)with it's expansion and this version? There are different tickets?

Hello,

If you already have Zum um Zug Deutschland and the 1902 expansion : it's the same.

• TTR Germany has 89 Destination Ticket Cards
. TTR Deutschland has 62 Destination Ticket Cards
. 1902 expansion has 29 Destination Ticket Cards

62 + 29 = 91 Destination Ticket Cards

They have a little difference (2 Destination Ticket Cards)

I would like to know why two less cards and if the other 89 are equal in both (Germany vs Deutschland + 1902).
Could someone answer me?
