The Campaign Collection thread Fri, 03 September 2010 16:25
This thread is simple. I wanted to gather all available campaigns in one place, official and unofficial, for those of us who enjoy campaigns (or even entertain ambitions of stitching together a super grand mega campaign).

I'm sure I missed many custom campaigns made by the users here. I expect that. Just post to let me know yours exists, with a link, and I'll amend this first post and add it to the list. Drop me a note to fix any links or info, too.

At some point I may tweak the list so it's sorted by the date of the campaign, but for now I'm keeping it simple. Also, no plans to do ratings. I'll leave that up to the community; comment in the thread, recommend, etc. It's up to YOU guys to say what's good.

If someone has already done this, my apologies. Couldn't find it on search. Also, apologies in advance for skipping French language material. I can't read French! Too bad, because there are a few great looking campaigns out there. (I'm looking at you, Carlit.) Anyone who does, feel free to snatch this post and do a French language version for the French language board, with French language campaigns.

The Transylvania Campaign is on the Eastern Front, as there are Russians... I thought this is logical. Razz

EDIT: Thanks for correcting it.

Great thread, I always like to keep track of campaigns. I like to play like there was always a battle before and there will always be a battle after this one. Always remember! V-E and V-J days are still out there.

The new expansion looks exciting ... hopefully exciting enough to inspire some new campaigns from you creators out there!

Maybe stitching together those four Bulge scenarios in Breakthrough format, hmm? Wink

'Second Front' - Unofficial Campaign Fri, 08 October 2010 00:34
Another Neptune/ Overlord campaign, strictly for completists, is now available on my User Pages. Primarily this is a linear campaign designed to house a couple of my own scenarios including Villers-Bocage. It uses scenarios covering all five of the main beach landings. It also uses some of the original base set scenarios which otherwise are unlikely to get an outing in the campaign setting. Apologies for the rough production values. I think just about all of the official Normandy scenarios are now utilised in official or unofficial campaigns!

Speaking of which, Brummbar's excellent, official D-Day and Normandy campaigns are found in Campaign Book 1 and on BGG, and they should be your first port of call for Normandy campaigns.

Excellent. I've updated the initial post to reflect that, as well as your Russian Campaign.

Just took a look at Overlord/Neptune. Looks very nice.

Thanks for the kind words Yangtze, but don't sell yourself short, your D-Day campaign is an excellent choice for players who are looking for the more in depth D-Day experience.

Give it a go folks, you won't be disappointed!

Looking at that unofficial list, it's going to get unwieldy with just a few more entries. At some point I think I'll do a quick organization by theater.

With Winter Wars hitting gaming tables soon, I hope we'll see some excellent winter-themed campaigns coming our way. *hint, hint*
