Online Italian Campaign Scenarios

Hi Everyone,
I have posted on the Military Archives SFTF tab 7 scenarios depicting some of the battles in the Italian Campaign. As you may be aware, 10 of our fellow enthusiasts are playing a Mediterranean Theater Campaign. The final 3 of those battles will be taken from these 7. In this tournament, we are divided into Axis and Allied camps. You ONLY play one side for victory. As of now, after 6 matches, it is 20-18 Axis.
If you get to look at the scenarios, I would appreciate which 3, in your opinion, would be the most even. The 3 highest number that are selected will be used by me as my selections for the final 3 battles( the others in the tournament get to select their favorites also). Thank you.
LooneyLlama
P.S. After we are done with the tournament, I would like to conduct another using Eastern Front scenarios. Anyone who would like to be in that one let me know by P.M. Also, I would like to use other scenarios, not just mine. So, if you have authored a scenario, and would like to see it played in the tournament, let me know.

Perhaps I missed it in the other threads, but... How do you want us to send you our votes? PM? Post in a thread?...

- Operation Encore,
- Ortona,
- Cassino
PS : I'm candidate for your next tournament

I think Cassino is the best. I would have to play the others to decide on a second and a third place.

Since most votes are over here I will vote here too.
First of: Leghorn, not because the allies would do wel here (though we will! ) but because it looks like the most fun.
in second place cassino: 10 medals is a lot but I see many tactical choices and careful maneuvering.
and third Salerno: i playtested this with Eric some time ago (although the hills looked different then ). Also by no means an easy victory for the allies, but careful positioning of units for otherwise the enemy escapes behind al kinds of terrain if you flag them.
I know the other ones do not have to be listed but I give my opnion anyway:
My fourth (just did not make the cut) was Anzio. I liked the Gung Ho for the allies but thought there was to much open terrain and too much germans basically (So trentdep if you read this: this I think is good for the germans)
Pietro and Orthona both look good for the allies in my eyes, but Ortona will take a bit longer to engage because the units start quite far apart. And while the allies go for Ortona the Axis will probably go for San leonardo.
And in the last place (but if it's online I will certainly test it, I just thought the others were better) Encore. Why? It looks like a hard fought infantry battle, slugging it out in the dirt being shelled by Artillery. Yes the allies have the Brazilians (french resistance style) but the Axis has those finnish skiing dudes and they are four figures a unit, brrrr.
(At trentdep, don't take this as a good Axis vote though, because the Allied position is quite good. )
Cassino and Ortona currently in the lead, but only one Axis representative has voted and three allied. Go allies!

Well - I was reluctant to offer any preferences as I have not played any of these maps, and was weary of placing the Axis at a severe disadvantage by picking maps ~ W/Pretty Colors And Lots Of Cool Stuff ~ ...
However, based on Jeroen's comments - here I go!
1) Anzio
2) Anzio
3) Anzio
But wait - I *do* like Ski Troops, and 4 figure Ski Troops could hardly not be a lot of fun, so maybe Encore ( and yes - I deserve an extra vote if - for no other reason - just because all of the odd time zones I've been burdened with ! ).

Oh, no I did it again, giving advice to the enemy.
Now I'll have to take myself outside and summarily . . . . .
