Played it online. Machineguns not implemented. Used night visibility instead of bad weather.
1. Taz openend 3 center to move artillery and prepare for infantry assault on his left flank.
2. Recon in force to get artillery in position.
3. Infantry assault on his left flank: Infantry down artillery survived. 0-1
4. Attack center: small punches on his infantry.
5. DHQ to keep pushing his attack: luckily all survived.
6. Assault center: a blow: took out 3 units: 3-1.
7. Probe Left: a kill: 3-2.
8. Recon in Force: Good damage no kills,
9 DHQ no 2: one kill one severely injured. 3-3
10. Counter attack: could have gotten two kills but did not.
11. Infantry assault no 2 now in his right flank. With a handy retreat of his injured inf. I stumbled but survived.
12. Probe center: the single infantry survived but the full health ski troopers fell under 3 dice. 4-3
13. Close assault 4-4 ( would Medics have been better here?
14. Probe left: heading for the single inf. should I have shot it with my artillery?
15. Here is the medic. and now my infantry needs it but he lives...
16. ... to go for 5-4.
17. Artillery Bombard: This could have ended the game. a flag: luck on my side. 5-5.
18. Move out: try to take that single infantry. It worked 6-5.
A challenging game where the Axis applied the same strategy as in the previous match: Attack on their left side and take that flank from the Russians.
Note: This strategy would also work if the machine guns would have been implemented. However Machine gun not moving means that it would not participate in further engagement when the battle has shifted to the center.
