Allies started off defensive, playing Dig-in and 2 Fortify cards. Axis disposed of a couple Right cards. I put Out of Ammo on sandbagged tank to save mine from 3d. Score was still 0-0 by Allies' 9th turn when they killed 2nd Sniper (1st by Ambush), then I went BEL for first scoring kill on Resistance and he moved 2nd tank out of sandbag to tie.
He knocked a tank to 1 and nearly got it, but I was able to score 3 kills in one turn before he took it out. With Armor Assault, I killed his lone-fig armor, then added Street Fight for 5 dice against his baseline armor and just missed it. So he blocked my retreat and killed my last tank. He had a few wounded guys and I got 2 hits on 2 dice to win.

Axis used TFH, then Countered my Counter to take a 3-0 lead despite my Ambush. Somehow I was able to clear my Right to tie, then went up the Center to kill and take ground into medal site. Axis put infantry in open so my remaining tank could shoot from the Left then cross the bridge to kill.

French: I (Allies) started without good cards for a Right or Center push, so went Left, but that didn't work. (I played Reinforcements but rolled a flag.)
Germans: 2nd turn, killed my Left tank and French Resistance in the Center.
French: I used Medics(+2) with Street Fight but rolled 2f/4d.
Germans took away the 2 figures.
French: TFH(2 inf, arm, star) killed his tank, but Ambush hit and retreated my tank which cleared wire next to Hôtel Meurice. Still I retreated him out of there with 2 flags from inf, and retreated and tg on town on the Right.
Germans: General Advance (with Street Fight) scored a kill and 6 more hits.
French: Infantry Assault-R moved French Resistance into Hôtel Meurice medal and killed his armor unit between the towns, and rolled 3h/3d for an infantry kill. (French 4-3)

As Allies, I killed both tanks. Once he put the sniper on the medal town it seemed futile to go after it. I had BEL that I could have used to go after a 2-fig inf he pulled back, but still would have needed 1 more, since the town was blocked. Last turn I had a lone-fig inf, so went for a sniper on my Right with 2 inf (hoping for another turn), but missed.

After tying the game at 1 by killing off a center French infantry with one of my panzers an Allied FIREFIGHT kills off a 2 fig panzer and reduces one of my left infantry to 1 fig. I pick off the center tank with my left panzer and draw TFH. I lose a weak left infantry.
I then play my REINFORCEMENTS card but only get an infantry-if only a panzer had shown up or even an arty whose fire from the church would have threatened to lob 2d attacks on any Allied unit in Hotel Meurice. My TFH orders two infantry and my panzer. My center Sniper moves in a town my my left and picks off a 2 fig infantry. My panzer uses ARMOR FORWARD and moves through wire and uses STREET FIGHT to get 5d on a 4 fig baseline infantry. But it plays AMBUSH first-getting a hit and a flag which I negate with NOT ONE STEP BACK. My other sniper scores 2 hits on a center infantry. I lead 4 to 3.
An Allied BEL kills off my last panzer and then secures the Hotel Meurice medal. My last turn FIREFIGHT then only gets 1 hit on a 2 fig infantry. I do kill off the 3 fig infantry in hotel Meurice with 4d from my Snipers but missing that center infantry cost me the game. Johan then takes Hotel Meurice with his tank and the 1 fig infantry that I missed last turn advances 1 hex and kills off a 1 fig infantry in forest with 1d.

Early on Johan gets a panzer off the REINFORCMENTS Combat Card and places it in the center. On his 2nd turn he kills off French infantry on my right. My follow up TFH orders two tanks and two infantry and I am able to kill off the infantry in Hotel Meurice but cannot take ground as my tank had just cleared the wire.
A few turns later I attack on my right and my tank kills off the panzer after forcing it back to its baseline-I also kill off a 2 fig infantry and lead 3 to 1. The Germans get the better of a brief battle in the center and then I play ARMOR ASSAULT with three tanks ordered but can do no damage to a 3 fig infantry in Hotel Meurice and a flag is negated by NOT ONE STEP BACK which would have given me that medal. I kill off a center panzer but lose a 2 fig center infantry. Both sides have heavy losses.
I then pick off the 3 fig infantry in Hotel Meurice with FIREFIGHT but cannot damage the 2 fig panzer in the church and have missed this units with several shots. A German DHQ sees the panzer charge out of the church and kill off my 1 fig right tank and then I lose a 3 fig infantry in a right town hex while a center infantry is reduced to 1 fig. It is a 5 to 5 game.
I have only one choice left-an INF ASSALUT card and I move a 1 fig French unit forward to attack the 2 fig Sniper in Hotel Meurice with 2d needing a flag or grenade-I get a flag and take ground to win the game.

Les Allemands ont eu de bonnes cartes, mais manqué de chance aux D, notamment les snipers qui ont 3 fois trouvé des chars (1 chance sur 6), en tirant sur des Résistants en bord de plateau !
A l'inverse, les Alliés ont manqué de cartes au centre, à droite ils ont percé difficilement, étant retardés par les tirs allemands, et à gauche,... ce n'était pas vraiment le flanc le plus intéressant tactiquement, sauf pour sortir les blindés.
