Historical Background:
March 1944, 1.Panzer Armee under the command of general Hube was surrounded on the Bug by troops of the 1st Ukraine Front of Marshall Zhukov. 4.Panzer Armee received the mission to rescue the 1.Panzer Armee by advancing in Galicia area. On the 06th of April 1944, 10.SS Panzer Division "Frundsberg" advanced towards Buczaz to join the 6.Panzer Division, one of the German units surrounded. At the end of the day, Buczaz was in German hands and units of 1.Panzer Armee could withdraw to the west.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Briefing:
Axis player [Germany] : 6 command cards, you move first.
Allied player [Soviet Union] : 5 command cards.

Conditions of Victory:
6 medals.
Buczaz is a temporary medal objective for the Axis player.

Special Rules:
- Use "Specialized Units" rules (Troop 2) to the Axis infantry units. Badge is not required.
- Use "Tiger" rules (Troop 16) to the Axis armored unit with a single figure.
