Historical Background:
After the landing on Juno Beach on the morning of 6th of June 1944, in spite of several losses, the 3rd Canadian Infantry Division began its advance towards Carpiquet airfield. The 7th Infantry brigade on the left advanced in direction of Secqueville en Bessin while the 9th Infantry Brigade advanced on the right towards Villons les Buissons, the 8th Infantry Brigade stayed on the rear. The Canadian advance was delayed by some remnants of units of the German 716.ID and stopped for the night before to reach its objective. On the 7th of June, Canadians continued their advance, avoiding on their right flank, the German radar station of Douvres la Délivrande, heavily fortified. At that time, the German armored reinforcements began to arrive on the battlefield...
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Briefing:
Axis player [Germany] : 6 command cards.
Allied player [Canada] : 10 command cards, you move first.

Conditions of Victory:
15 medals.
The radar station, Villons les Buissons, Rosel and Secqueville en Bessin are each a temporary medal objective for the Allied player.

Special Rules:
- Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5) to all Allied units.
- Place badges on the German elite infantry (Troops 2 - Specialized Units), on two Allied mobile artillery units (Troops 14 - Mobile Artillery) and on one German anti-tank artillery unit (Troops 23 - Heavy Anti-Tank Guns).
- Use "Sniper" rules (Troops 10) to three Axis infantry units with a single figure.
- Special Weapon Asset rules (SWAs 4 - Special Weapon Assets) are in effect for the Axis units equipped with mortars (SWAs 6 - Mortar Late War).
- Use "Air Strikes & Blitz" rules (Actions 3) to the Allied player.
- The Axis player lays out the Minefields (Terrain 29 - Minefields).
