Historical Background:
...The 3rd US Infantry Division is engaged in the Vosges Mountains. Near the village of Cleurie, they find themselves stopped by a German party entrenched on nearby heights and in a quarry....

This is an Audie Murphy campaign scenario, by jdrommel, copied here to play Online.
AARs can be posted here:
Note: it was originally 5 medals, so adjust the score (see below).

Axis player [Germany]
Take 5 command cards.
Allied player [United States]
Take 5 command cards.
You move first.

Conditions of Victory:
8 Medals.
To win the Allied player must also capture and hold the Quarry hill space (a temporary medal objective for the Allies).
The Quarry hex is now worth 4 Medals for the Allied player!
The Axis player starts with 3 permanent medals.

Note: the original scenario is a 5 medal scenario. The above medals were added to allow the Quarry Requirement Medal.
If you are writing After Action Reports (AARs), you should subtract 3 from the Axis count, and the Allies should have only 1-4 if they lose; 5 if they win. The quarry was originally 1 medal.

Special Rules:
Two German units with badges are 1-figure Snipers (Troops 10) who don't provide a medal when killed.

Please note that this scenario was not approved by Richard Borg or Days of Wonder, so you have to check yourself about playability, potential gaming issues, etc.
