Historical Background:
After the breakthrough of the Allied front on the Somme in early June 1940, the 4th DCR protects the retreating French troops to the south. Pursued by German forces, it ensures its role as rear opposing a strong resistance and even launching attacks against targeted.

Bibes Company, belonging to the 47th B.C.C., is part of this protection. It is equipped with heavy tanks Renault B1-bis. In the afternoon of June 17, 1940, it penetrates the Beauce by the village of Verdes. It covers elements of the 84th Infantry D.I. due to join Marchenoir. To ensure this retreat, two others tank companies have positioned themselves in Binas, in order to protect the intersection for giving time of the evacuation of French units. They are Ghislain (46th B.C.C.) and Gaudet (37th B.C.C.) Companies, also equipped with tanks B1 and B1-bis.

Around 18:00, the Bibes Company is heading Binas and saw off German armored cars on the road between Tripleville and Ouzouer-le-Marché. It quickly crosses the village while the Ghislain and Gaudet Companies, still in position, are gradually surrounded to the west and north by light tanks and motorized infantry of the German army. A few shots were exchanged. It reached Marchenoir without problem, recovering the passage unit subtracted from Autainville.

Ghislain Company is in Binas in the evening, leaving two tanks to the Gaudet Company . The Germans become more and more aggressive. 18:30 to 21:30, they launched severals assaults on Binas. Undergoing heavy fire from machine guns and artillery, the Gaudet Company will hold the village, using the plains of Beauce to identify adverse movements. It pushes the infantry infiltrating through the corn fields and inflicted heavy losses. It also destroys the trucks and an armored column. After nightfall, the Gaudet Company shall then move to Marchenoir, always under fire. The evacuation of Binas occurs without damage and the whole Company joined Marchenoir.

The German player receives 5 cards of command, the French player receives 4.
The French player moves first.

Conditions of Victory:
We must get 5 medals to win.
The German player wins a medal if temporarily seizes Binas.
The French player wins a medal final victory for each unit makes it off the board by road south of St. Laurent-des-Bois.

Special Rules:
Action 15 - The Blitz rules apply.
The infantry units of elite German troops are carried in halftracks or trucks.
German tanks with a cross are German light armored vehicles: they have only 2 figures.
Units of elite French infantry badge with "Rangers" are troops of cuirassiers and dragoons.
French infantry units with the badge "antitank weapon" guns are equipped with 47 and 25 mm. Weakened, these units have only 3 figures each.
The French elite armored units are heavy tanks B1 or B1 bis.
French infantry units are weakened: they have only 3 figures.
The river Aigre is passable.
