Historical Background: After the capture of the city of Moulmein, Japanese 55th Infantry Division pursued its advance in Burma. On the British side, the 17th Infantry Division attempted to establish a new defense line on the Bilin river. But this river was not really an obstacle because of numerous fords and Japanese troops outflanked quickly the British positions,in order to surround them. At that time, British troops left the position on the cover of darkness and withdrew to a new one on the Sittang river. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player [Japan] : 6 command cards, you move first. Allied player [United Kingdom] : 5 command cards.
Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. Bilin village is a temporary medal objective for the Axis player.
Special Rules: - Use "Japanese Imperial Army" rules (Nations 3). - Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5). - Use "Special Weapon Asset" rules (SWAs 4) for Axis units equipped with Mortar (SWAs 6). - The Bilin river is fordable (Terrains 41). - Use "Rice Paddies" rules (Terrains 60).
