Historical Background: On the 22nd of June 1944, STAVKA launched Operation Bagration on the central front of White Russia (now Belarus). German units of "Heeres Gruppe Mitte" were decimated and the road to Minsk threatened. The "Legion des Volontaires Français", a French Vichy unit wearing German uniform, was one of the numerous units withdrawing to Borisov. The French received the orders to stop the Soviet advance on the Bobr river to let German units to cross the Berezina river at Borisov. With the support of four Tiger tanks,the French resisted the whole day of 26th June to several Russian tanks attacks. The cemetery of Bobr village was the place of fierce close combat. The LVF was relieved the next day and pursued its withdrawal toward the West. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.

Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. For the Allied player, exit marker is in effect on the road hexagon marked "vers Borisov".
Special Rules: - Use "French Army" rules (Nations 7). - Use "Tiger" rules (Troops 16) to the two Axis armored units. - Special Weapon Asset Rules (SWAs 4) are in effect for the three Axis units equipped with anti tank guns (SWAs 5).
