[Burma] Tavoy airfield - January 19, 1942

Historical Background:
After the landing in Thailand, Japanese troops of the 15th Army, advanced towards Burma. Crossing the border on the 15th of January 1942, then mountains and jungle of the Tennasserim, the 3rd battalion of Japanese 112th Infantry Regiment approached to its objective : Tavoy airfield. On the 19th of January, the Japanese attacked the airfield defended by the 6th Burma Rifles. The British unit was beaten and withdrew to the north.The capture of Tavoy forced the British to evacuate the Mergui garrison before the surrounding. So, the three British airfields of the Tennasserim (Victoria Point, Mergui and Tavoy) were in Japanese hands.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.

Allied player [United Kingdom] : 5 command cards.

Conditions of Victory:
6 medals.
The main hexagon of Tavoy Airfield is a temporary medal objective for the Axis player.

Special Rules:
- Use "Japanese Imperial Army" rules (Nations 3).
- Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5).
- Use "Special Weapon Asset" rules (SWAs 4) for Axis unit equipped with Mortar (SWAs 6) and for Allied units equipped with Machine Guns (SWAs 7).
