Historical Background: On the 29th of November 1941, the 21st New Zealand Battalion were defending Point 175, on the North Escarpment. In the morning, the NZ soldiers had the surprise to capture General Ravenstein, commander of the 21.Panzer Division, who was lost in the desert with his command car. But in the afternoon, they saw a column of vehicles approaching of Point 175 and they thought that it was the 1st South African Brigade. In fact, it was the Italian Armored Division Ariete. After the battle, at the end of the day, the Italians had repulsed the NZ Battalion and kept firmly Point 175. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player [Italy] : 6 command cards, you move first. Allied player [New Zealand] : 4 command cards.
Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. Point 175 is a temporary-medal objective for the Axis player.
Special Rules: - Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5) to all Allied units. - Use "Royal Italian Army" rules (Nations 6) to all Axis units. - Use "Mobile artillery" rules (Troops 14) to the Italian artillery unit with badge. - Use "Antitank Weapons" rules (SWA 1 & 2) to Allied infantry units with SWA badge. - Use "North African Desert" rules (Actions 9).
