Historical Background: Coming from Irak, the British "Habforce", crossed the Syrian desert to reach the city of Homs via the oasis of Palmyra. But Major Gherardi, the French commander of the garrison, among which the 15th company of the Foreign Legion, wanted to fight to the end. During two weeks of fierce fighting, from 22th of June to the 3rd of July, the defenders of Palmyra, resisted to the attacks of the Habforce. Finally, the 3rd of July, when Fort Weygand surrendered, out of ammunition, the British troops were amazed by the very few defenders and then payed honor to the French garrison. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player [France Vichy] : 5 command cards. Allied player [United Kingdom] : 6 command cards, you move first.
Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. Fort Weygand is a permanent medal-objective for the Allied player.
