Historical Background: On the 28th of June 1941, the 18.Panzer Division was in Minsk. General Nehring, commander of the division, ordered to Major Teege to compose a kampfgruppe with tanks, motorcyclists and motorized infantry, to charge to Borisov in order to capture the bridge on the Berezina river. On the 1st of July, German tanks were in front of Borisov. The city was defended by cadets of the tank military school and some retreating units. Soviet cadets fought fiercely , particularly on the old Napoleonic redoubt, but they could not prevent the Germans to capture the bridge. Soviet defenders of Borisov fought in the city two days more before to be annihilated by the 18.Panzer division who had joined kampfgruppe Teege. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player [Germany] : 6 command cards, you move first. Allied player [Soviet Union] : 5 command cards.
Conditions of Victory: 7 medals. For the Axis player, use the "Exit" token rules (Action 23) to the road hexagon marked "vers Orsha".
Special Rules: - Use "Red Army" rules (Nation 2). - Use "Blitz" rules (Action 15). - Place badges on German and Soviet elite units (Troops 2).
