Historical Background:
On the 29th of November 1942, the 2nd British Parachute Battalion under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Frost (the winner of the raid on Bruneval), was dropped on the disused Depienne airfield in Tunisia. Then, the paratroopers had a forced march during the night to join Oudna airfield in order to destroy German planes based on it. Once on the place, Frost discovered that the airfield was disused too but occupied by German troops. The British paratroopers were at that time attacked by German tanks and strafed by airplanes, they withdrew on surroundings hills at a place called "Prise de l'eau" to have a better defensive position. On the 1st of December, constantly under the fire of German mortars and the strafing of the Luftwaffe, the Red Devils repelled fiercely an armored and infantry attack, before to withdraw, on the next night, to another position.
