Historical Background: After the reopening of a breach in the German lines at Myasnoy Bor, the 2nd Shock Army, under the new command of General Vlassov, attacked the east flank of this corridor in order to widen it to allow a better resupplying to the "Erika" trail. The 58th Rifle Brigade, with the support of tanks of the 7th Armored brigade, with some KV-2 heavy tanks, was in charge of the assault on the hills 652, 640 and 634. Despite a hard German defense and heavy losses of the attackers, the German lines were overwhelmed and the Soviet corridor was widen as planned by General Vlassov. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.
