Historical Background:
After the failure of their first attack on the 22 December, British troops made a new attack on the 24 December and succeeded to take Longstop Hill. On the 25 December, German Kampfgruppe Lang launched a new counter-attack, advancing on the flanks of the hill before to head for the center of the djebel. The German counter-attack was a success, the British soldiers were repelled again and the Germans controlled Longstop Hill again, and because the battle was on Christmas day, they called it "Christmas Hill".
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.

Briefing:
Axis player [Germany] : 6 command cards, you move first.
Allied player [United-Kingdom/United States] : 6 command cards.

Conditions of Victory:
7 medals.
The 10 hexes of Djebel Ahmar form a Temporary Majority Medal Objective worth 1 Medal for whoever controls the hills.
So the Allied player begins the game with one medal in his victory path.

Special Rules:
- Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5) to British units.
- Use "Specialized Units" rules (Troops 2) to all Axis infantry units. Badges are not required.
- Re-supply rules (Actions 24) are in effect for Half-Tracks (Troops 18).
- The Axis player lays out the minefields (Terrains 29).
