Historical Background: After the Soviet landing on Saaremaa island on the 5 October 1944, German troops withdrew to the Sörve peninsula, easy to defend. In the night of 8 October, two battalions of the Grenadier Regiment 67 (23.Infanterie Division) coming from Nasva, had been overtaken by the Soviet vanguard and were blocked at the crossroad of Tehumardi by elements of 370th Anti-Tank Battalion (294th Rifle Division). Another Soviet battalion, from the 917th Rifle Regiment, arrived in the same time by a parallel road to the Germans. In the darkness of the night, the Germans tried to breakthrough the Soviet thin lines. The battle degenerated in a confused close combat, involving heavy losses (about 200 KIA on each side). Finally, the majority of the Germans were able to break through and joined the new German lines in the Sörve peninsula. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.

Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. Exit markers (Actions 23) are in effect on the entire Allied baseline, for Axis forces.
