Historical Background:
At the beginning of Operation Watchtower, on the 7th of August 1942, the US Marine 1st Parachute Battalion landed on the small island of Gavutu, house of a Japanese seaplane base. The Marines landed under the fire of a bunker which inflicted them several losses. Japanese defenders, entrenched in caves and bunkers on hill 148, resisted until the 8th of August at noon, when the Marines finished to destroy every bunkers with explosives charges.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Axis player [Japan] : 5 command cards.
Allied player [US Marine Corps] : 6 command cards, you move first.

Conditions of Victory:
6 medals.

Special Rules:
- Use "Japanese Imperial Army" rules (Nations 3).
- Use "US Marine Corps" rules for all Allied troops (Nation 4). Badges are not required.
- Use "Combat Engineers" rules (Troops 4) to the Allied units with badges.
- Use "Destroyer" rules (Troops 12).
- Use "Cave on Hills" rules (Terrain 52).
