Historical Background: After the landing in the mangrove of Sarimbun on Singapore island, Japanese troops advanced quickly toward the city. Defenders were British, Indians, Australians and Chinese volunteers of the Dalforce and tried to stop the Japanese on the Chao Chu Kang road. The main fighting was at à Bukit Timah where an antitank gun destroyed the heading Japanese tank before the defenders made some counter-attacks and fierce close combat with bayonets. At midnight, the Japanese had captured Bukit Timah. The road to Singapore city was open. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player [Japanese Imperial Army] : 5 command cards, you play first. Allied player [United Kingdom] : 5 command cards.
Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. For the Axis player, use the "Exit" token rules (Action 23) to the road hexagon marked "vers Singapour".
Special Rules: - Use "Japanese Imperial Army" rules (Nation 3). - Use "BCF Command" rules (Nation 5) to the seven British units. - Special Weapon Asset Rules (SWAs 1) are in effect for the unit equipped with anti-tank gun (SWAs 2). - The three Chinese units of the Dalforce have only three figures but it's a victory point each if the unit is destroyed.
