Historical Background: The 25th RTS (Senegalese Rifle Regiment) was part of the troops defending the front north of Lyon to the German invasion. The 1st Battalion took positions in the convent of Montluzin and the first houses of Chasselay, with the support of some 75mm guns of the 405th Anti Aircraft Regiment (used as anti-tank guns). On the 19th of June, the battle began : advancing on the road to Lyon, German troops of Regiment GrossDeutschland were first exposed to the French fire and suffered some losses but they reacted quickly, with the support of panzers. In spite of an heroic defense, the Senegalese riflemen were overcome by numbers. After the battle, the Germans made a manhunt and a massacre of all Senegalese alive. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
