On the 13th of June, the 21.Panzer Division attacked the box of the 2nd Scots Guards on the Rigle ridge. German tanks could cross the minefields which encircled the box but were driven back the first time. On a second attack, the Scots Guards had to withdraw and abandoned their positions on the ridge, despite the tank support made by the 2nd Armoured Brigade.
