Historical Background: In April 1942, on the Lapland front (near Murmansk), the 6.Gebrigs Division kept several strong points on the Lisa River and on the coast of the Barents Sea. The Soviet command (STAVKA) had planned a landing in the Motovski Bay with the 12th Marine Infantry Brigade (called the "Black Death" by the Germans). In the night of 28th to 29th April, with the fire support of Destroyer Loud and Patrol-Boat Smerch, the Soviet Marine infantrymen began to land and to attack the German strong point "Pikschojew". The Gebirgsjägers, well entrenched in the strong point, resisted to the Soviet assault, knowing that a relief column was on the way. Although they suffered heavy losses, the Soviet Marine infantrymen had infiltrated the German lines and advanced behind the strong point. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. For the Allied player, Exit markers are in effect on the whole Axis baseline (Action 23).
Special Rules: - Use "Red Army" rules (Nations 2). - Special Weapon Asset rules (SWAs 1) are in effect for the Axis unit equipped with mortars (SWAs 3). - Use "Sniper" rules (Troops 10) to the Axis infantry unit with a single figure. - Use "Destroyer" rules (Troops 12) for Destroyer Loud and Patrol-Boat Smerch. - Use "Night Attacks" rules (Actions 19).
