There are problems with this scenario: it cannot be set-up using the standard terrain tiles of Memoir '44 and the selected extensions. There are too many terrains of one or more types. Please contact the author.

Historical Background:
The largest airborne operation of the war is about to begin. Its objective: to cross the Rhine at Arnhem to enter Germany and end the war as quickly as possible.
Three divisions will be parachuted into Holland. The 1st British airborne division will be parachuted west of Arnhem. Its mission will be to take the town and the bridge over the Rhine and hold these positions until the arrival of the XXXth armoured corps. The 9th SS Panzer Division will counter-attack with its tanks. If ever the 1st division found itself in difficulty, the Polish brigade remained in reserve, ready to arrive as a reinforcement.

Allied player :
-6 command cards
- you play first

German player:
-3 command cards at the beginning of the game and then 5 cards

Conditions of Victory:
-10 medals
-Medals are temporary objective medals for the allies.

Special Rules:
-Parachuting: At the start of the game, the Allied player parachutes 10 special units into the hexes marked with a battle star (see parachuting rules) except on the Polish Drop Zone.
-Polish Brigade: The Polish brigade may parachute as a reinforcement into all Battle Star hexes including the Polish Drop Zone. The Allied player must sacrifice one command card (he will play the rest of the game with 5 cards instead of 6) and may parachute 3 special infantry units (see parachuting rules).
-Arrival of the XXX Corps: This rule is similar to the night rules. At the beginning of each turn, the Allied player rolls one die. If he gets a star, he keeps the score in his memory. At the end of 6 stars obtained, the XXXth corps arrives as a reinforcement from the south of Arnhem. Each following turn, the Allied player may bring an armoured unit onto the Arnhem road without having to use a command card (provided the hex is free). He thus has a total of 6 armoured units in reserve.
German counter-attack: units marked with the German cockade are not placed at the beginning of the game, they are units that arrive as reinforcements. When the discard pile is reduced to 18 cards (9 game turns), these units appear on the board. If the indicated hex is occupied, they appear on an adjacent hex. They conduct free hand-to-hand combat (in addition to the upcoming activation) if an English unit is in an adjacent hex. In addition, the German player can now play with 5 command cards.
