Historical Background:
January 1945. The Russian army advances everywhere on the Eastern Front, bringing the conflict closer to German lands.
In Hungary, across the River Kwak, German officers had forgotten a few compromising files on a schnapps factory used to turn German soldiers into supermen.
The Ubergrossstroumph Helmut van Zimmel has assembled all the troops available on this part of the front. Their goal: to destroy the biggest bridge over the Kwak River in order to slow down the Russians and recover said files from the Russians. Naturally, Uncle Ivan’s sons do not share this opinion and shock troops are assembled to counter this German offensive. No doubt, there will be some kind of rift in the snow!

Briefing:
Allies player (Russia): Start with 6 command cards.
Axis player (Germany): Start with 6 command cards, you play first.

Conditions of Victory:
8 medals.
The 3 city hexes on the left form a temporary medal for the German player. Occupying only one of the 3 hexagons is enough to take the medal.
The bridge over the River Kwak is a temporary medal for both sides.

Special Rules:
Political commissar rule activated
Elite infantry and armor.
Frozen rivers.
