Historical Background: After the liberation of Metz on the 22nd of November, the battle continued in Lorraine. From 27th to 29th of November, east of Saint-Avold, US soldiers of 317th Infantry (80th US Infantry Division) fought against grenadiers of the SS Panzer-Grenadier Regiment 38, entrenched behind the embankment of the railway at Farebersviller. US soldiers in the south part of the village could crossed the railway but were counter-attacked by a company of grenadiers supported by some panzers. The German counter-attack repelled US soldiers from the village which stayed in German hands for some days more. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. One of the four hexagons of the village on the Axis side is a Temporary Medal Objective for the Allied player. One of the five hexagons of the village on the Allied side is a Temporary Medal Objective for the Axis player.
