Historical Background:
On the 25th of January 1942, at 07 AM., Kampfgruppe Warrelmann, made up with Maschinengewehr-Bataillon (mot.) 2 and Aufklärungs Abteilung 3, left Antelat toward the North. It had received the order from Rommel to capture the village of M'sus taking advantage of the disorganization of British troops. Two hours later, the Kampfgruppe was stopped by a counter-attack of British tanks. In the same time on its right hand, the Panzer-Regiment 8 (15.Panzer-Division) was fighting against another British column, quickly scattered. After inflicting serious losses to the British tanks, Kampfgruppe Warrelmann continued its advance and captures M'sus, the airfield and a British supply depot at 11 AM.
