Historical Background:
05th of December 1939 - Carelia isthmus.
Since October 1939, Stalin demand some border territories from Finland, in order to protect Leningrad but in reality to control the Finland Gulf. Finnish government agreed for some concessions but Stalin wanted more, and on the 30th of November 1939, Soviet troops attacked Finland. The Soviet 7th army was soon in front of Mannerheim line, old Finnish defense line near the border, built in years 1920. The Russian advance was highly delayed on this line and gave enough time to the Finnish troops to gather and counter-attack in the north of Carelia.
