Historical Background: In March 1945, the remnants of 4th German Army were surounded in the "Kessel" of Heiligenbeil, on the Baltic sea, between the cities of Koenigsberg and Elbing. On the 25th of March, STAVKA launched the operation "Braunsberg Offensive" in the aim to reduce the pocket. Fightings in Heiligenbeil brought together 11th Guards Army to the remains of Panzer Grenadier Division "GrossDeutschland" and 28th Jäger Division. The city was entirely destroyed and German survivors withdraw to the harbor of Rosenberg-Kahlhotz. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Special Rules: - Use "Specialized Units" or "Elite Armor" (Troop 2) to all units with a badge. - Use "Fordable Stream" (Terrain 61) for the river.
