Historical Background:
In the beginning of May 1943, the battle of Tunisia was nearly finished, but in the Djebel Zaghouan pocket some Axis troops were still fighting fierceness. 1st Free French Division was engaged in front of the Djebillat ridge where German soldiers of the 90.Leichte Division were entrenched. On the morning of the 11th of May, 2 battalions attacked the ridge, supported by the howitzers of the 1st French Artillery Regiment, BM4 in front of the bunkers of hill 136 West and BM5 in front of the bunkers of hill 150. The battle was fierce and cost many losses on the two belligerents but the objectives of the Free French were captured in the morning. On the 14th of May 1943, the Tunisian campaign was over, the Allied troops controlled all North Africa.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
