Clarification of Region Sets please Sat, 28 December 2013 20:15
Myself and my friends are very confused in regards to the small world underground rules regarding "region sets". May I get a clarification of this please? The verbage for the special powers, Quarreling, Flocking and possibly even fisher are very confusing.

Quarreling: Collect 1 bonus coin for each separate set of regions. It then goes on to talk about region borders etc... I can find no definition of a "region set"

Flocking also talks about region sets, but to know if all my regions form a single set, I need the definition of a region set.

Thank you in advance,

A region set means a group of regions that are all connected to each other by at least one border, not regarding capacities such as the Spiderines'. Example : you get the Quarelling Spiderines. You conquer an empty region adjacent to a Chasm, then conquer only one empty region adjacent to every other Chasm. My calculations lead me to think you conquered five different regions that are very likely not to share any border with any other. They then each form a set of regions, precisely five sets of ONE region, then you get 5 extra Victory Points. If two of the five regions had shared a border with each other, it would have only been 4 VPs, etcetera. In the case of the Spiderines, those regions are not considered adjacent although they can conquer regions adjacent to Chasms AS IF they were adjacent with each other. But with other races, taking the best out of the Quarreling special power is quite more challenging !

Although some hop, skip and jumping along the length of the river can help.
