Gamefest reported at Gama: "Days of Wonder is also planning to do two small expansions - one for Pirate's Cove and one for Mystery of the Abbey. These will likely be packs of cards with perhaps a few extras. They will either be free or will be available for a minimum price. Look for these later this year." [Report message to a moderator]

Expansion...I'm still trying to get the game itself! Neither the two local stores nor the internet retailers that I deal with have it in stock at the moment, though hopefully one of the latter will fairly soon. i just bought the game new on ebay. it was the only one listed so perhaps if you're interested in turning a quick buck, you could sell it. apparently it's now all out of print so it makes me question the rumors of an expansion. arrrgh. [Report message to a moderator]

I'm not trying to be awkward, but since a 2007 expansion was promised a long time ago, I think it's about time we got some information concerning this. There isn't long of 2007 to go and we've heard precisley nothing since the first announcement was made way back. My guess is that it may not be happening this year after all - which is fine, but please can you tell us just a wee bit more? Even if it's only to confirm that an expansion is still being planned. Well, perhaps there has been a sighting of an upcoming expansion now that one has been sighted for Shadows Over Camelot? I think Pirate's Cove has about the same chance of getting expanded as SOC, so maybe now there will be some news of an expansion? It would be nice to hear. [Report message to a moderator]

Hey Mateys, Good rumor mill we've got going here too! Seems like DOW is up to something other than BattleLore of late. Maybe several of our favorite games will be getting new expansions. Seems like it won't be until Gen Con I get that they have the ready though. Maybe Origins... wait that convention when down the drain last year it seemed. So, yeah August '08!!! At the latest we hope! Time for some new gaming options, right? Unless they want to lose gamers to the ever expanding Fantasy Flight behemoth! Keep us all informed with any scoop!!! Hey Since it's already the END of 2008 take this Expansion Post off of the Forums. I got all excited when I saw it and now I'm just plum dissapointed from reading that the idea died a year ago. Suggestions: MAKE AN EXPANSION and replace this old forum with a new one PLEASE. or... just forget about it and delete this old forum.
