Une fois l'artillerie russe positionnée sur l'hexagone médian, les allemands n'ont pu franchir les premières lignes. Les russes se sont permis plusieurs contre-attaques finalement payantes.

The fight became quite bloody in the center after center assault, infantry assault and firefight a Pincer and an Artillery Bombard, but still the score was 4-4
Infantry assault and center all brought my opponent to 6-5
A recon in force scored 6-6 and his barrage missed for 7-6
I had only right flank cards left so needed to recon.
Turn 3 Germans opened the attack on the plateau. Allied Pincered. It was countered but with no hits.
Allied continued with Their Finest Hour which gave them control over both flanks.
Turn 9-10-11 two consecutive Recon in forces and an attack gave the Axis three medals and control over the plateau.
Allied responded with a center move moving up their infantry and taking a medal.
Allied slowly improved their position and at tun 18 A General Advance brought them in the lead 4-3.
A German Probe equaled, but an Allied Pincer brought them to 6-4.
The German right flank was gone and the Russian Defense was still very strong.
They finished the game at turn 24 with a counter attack at my Center Assault.
After minor scrimmages the allied opened their assault with a General Advance. With two center assaults at hand, I opted to BEL the inf right in the woods to he center.
Germans continued their attack on both flanks with a DHQ.
Which was counterattacked.

The first center assault at turn 8 brought the Allies 3 medals and some turns later after some scrimmages on the right a fourth one. The Axis brought in their armour four their first medal and Allies concentrated in the center. Another medal gained for the Axis on the Allied left flank. A second Center All reorganized Allied troops and threw back Axis attackers. Whom responded on the left flank. A close Assault further diminished some Axis troops. My opponent responded with a second DHQ to take the soviet tank out for another medal. 4-3
An Infantry Assault with all troops in the center finished the game 7-3
