Historical Background:
On the 04th of February 1943, Soviet troops of the North-Caucasus Front landed in the south of Novorossiisk. The main landing at Ozereevka failed because of the fierce resistance of German/Rumanian troops in this area and then the landing at Malaya Zemlya which was supposed to be a decoy became the main landing zone. The 800 Soviet naval infantrymen, under the command of Major Caesar Kunikov, captured Myskhako Cape and established a strong bridgehead. Major Kunikov mortally wounded in the battle was made "Hero of the Soviet Union" posthumously.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Special Rules:
- Use "Specialized Units" rules (Troops 2) for Allied infantry units with badges "Soviet special forces".
- Use "Landing Craft" rules (Troops 15).
