Historical Background: June 1940, during the German offensive "Fall Rot", the 51st Highland Division was withdrawing from the Somme river to the Seine. "D" Company - 4th battalion - The Border Regiment, was ordered to hold the village of Incheville and to prevent the enemy to cross the bridge over the Bresle river. During a long week, men of the "D" coy carried out their mission, under the fire of increasing enemies troops. On the 14th of June, surrounded and out of ammunition, having learned that their mission had became unnecessary (the 51st Division capitulated on the 12th of June at Saint-Valery-en-Caux with the remnants of 9th French Army Corps), the last soldiers still alive of the "D" coy surrendered. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
