Historical Background:
Burma, the British garrison of Pegu, virtually surrounded by Japanese troops, was ordered to evacuate and to join the main British forces near Rangoon. The first attempt of junction was using the north road, but the British column found Japanese units in the village of Payagyi. "Stuart" tanks of 7th Hussars fought against Japanese tanks Ha-Go. After a confused battle where the Japanese lost at least 5 tanks, the British column withdrew from the engagement and move to Hlegu on the west road of Pegu.
