Historical Background: On the 30th of November 1941, Axis troops were trying to surround the 2nd NZ Infantry Division of General Freyberg. In the afternoon, Kampfgruppe Mickl attacked from southwest the area of Sidi Rezegh defended by the 6th NZ Brigade. After a fierce battle, the remaining troops of the NZ brigade were withdrawing to the south of Belhamed. Sidi Rezegh was, once again in German hands but Axis troops were exhausted. For Rommel, it was now time to reduce the Belhamed pocket and to destroy definitively the 2nd NZ Division. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
Briefing: Axis player [Germany] : 5 command cards, you move first. Allied player [New Zealand] : 5 command cards.
Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. The tomb of Sidi Rezegh is a temporary medal objective for the Axis player.
Special Rules: - Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5) to all Allied units. - Use "Antitank Weapons" rules (SWA 1 & 2) to Allied infantry units with SWA badge. - Use "North African Desert" rules (Actions 9).
