Historical Background: On the 6th of December, the Italian XXe Corpo Celere under the command of Generale Gambara was late and Crüwell decided to launch the Afrika Korps to the attack of Bir El Gobi where the British were gathering. The panzers fought first against the infantry of the 5th Indian Motor Brigade before to battle the tanks of the 7th Armoured Division. German troops advanced as far as Bir El Gobi under the heavy fire of British artillery. In the evening, they were near the oasis, but Crüwell estimated that the enemy was too powerful to be beaten. The next day, Rommel ordered the retreat of all Axis troops to Aïn El Gazala. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Conditions of Victory: 6 medals. Bir El Gobi oasis is a temporary medal objective for the Axis player.
