Historical Background:
After the victorious battle of Kuneitra, the French Vichy battle-group under the command of colonel Le Couteulx had to withdraw to Damascus, in danger to be captured by Indian and free French troops. Arriving in Mezzé, the west suburbs of Damascus, in the back of the 5th Indian Brigade, the battle-group Le Couteulx surprised the Indians and recaptured the city in street fighting, a column of supply trucks was totally destroyed in the main street. At the end of 19th of June, the city had been cleared of Indian troops and the 5th Brigade virtually destroyed. The HQ of the brigade, situated in the "Maison Rondeau", was captured the next morning.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn and you are in command. The rest is history.

Axis player [France Vichy] : 6 command cards, you move first.
Allied player [India] :Take 3 command cards (Indians were surprised). Draw two cards after turns 1 and 2. You will then have a hand of 5 command cards for the rest of the battle.

Conditions of Victory:
6 medals.
The British HQ in the Maison Rondeau is a permanent medal objective for the Axis player.
The destruction of the three supply trucks is a permanent medal objective for the Axis player.

Special Rules:
- Use "BCF Command" rules (Nations 5) to all Allied units.
- Use "French Army" rules (Nations 7) to all French infantry units.
- Use "Cavalry" rules (Troops 8) to the three French units with cavalry badge.
- Use " Supply Trucks" rules (Troops 17) and " Re-supply" rules (Actions 24).
