Historical Background: In February 1941, Operation Abstention was a British operation to capture the small island of Kastellorizo in order to give the control of the Aegean Sea to the Royal Navy. On the 25th of February, 200 commandos landed near Cape Nifti while 24 Royal Marines landed directly in the harbor. British troops captured the little Italian garrison and destroyed the radio station. But the Italians had alerted their main base in Rhodes, and in the same day the "Regia Aeronautica" began to bombard the island and the Royal Navy. The next day, the arrival of battleships of the "Regia Marina" prevented the landing of the Sherwood Forresters unit who was designed to be the new garrison of the island. The commandos stayed alone on Kastellorizo. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
