There are problems with this scenario: it cannot be set-up using the standard terrain tiles of Memoir '44 and the selected extensions. There are too many terrains of one or more types. Please contact the author.

Historical Background:
On April 17, 2006 the second Battle of Ramadi began. A complexed and heavy attack was launched by insurgents attacking Observation Post Virginia, the Government Center, the Snake Pit Outpost, and Camp Ramadi all simultaneously by forces led by Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.

Conditions of Victory:
Allies / US / Coalition Forces
Eight Victory Medals. Six command cards.
Any of the three hospital hexes count as one temporary medal for Coalition Forces.

Insurgent forces
Five Victory Medals. Four command cards.
For the Insurgents, Camp Ramadi and the HQ count as one permanent medal. The Government offices count as one temporary medal.

Special Rules:
Bridges may be exited on any hex.

Insurgents were mobile, many, and individually less skilled fighters than the coalition forces. As such, one group is represented by an understaffed German unit with Finnish badge that is able to move throughout the city. Another group is represented by a German unit with a French Resistance unit. The 1 figure Japanese troops represent suicide bombers.
Mobile Artillery is depleted.

Coalition forces were well trained, but less tolerant of casualties. They have 8 victory medals compared to 5 for the Insurgents.

Coalition Forces
Combat engineers and US Special Forces.

Hospital healing in effect.

Insurgent forces
"French" resistance move 0-1 onto any terrain, 3,2,1. Retreat 1-3. Represent supports insurgent forces.
1 figure Japanese troop: Suicide bomber.
