Historical Background:
US tanks of the 1st Armored Regiment of Colonel Waters (the son-in-law of the famous General Patton), attached to the Blade Force fought on the 26th of November (Thinksgiving Day) against an enemy armored column coming from Mateur. The battle was in the plain near the Coxen's Farm and it was the first time for a tank battle between Germans and Americans. US Stuart M3 light tanks fired at point blank range on the German mighty Panzer IV F2. In spite of the air support by the Stukas of the Luftwaffe, the battle was a draw, and even if the Allies captured Coxen's Farm on the 27th of November, their offensive to Mateur was stopped for a long time.
The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.
