Historical Background: In July 1941, the SS division Leibstandarte Adolf Hitler was involved in Operation Barbarossa as unit of the armies group South. In the Jitomir area, the waffen SS made defensive fighting against the 5th Soviet army. On the 13th of July the SS had to capture the village of Henrykovka but the Soviets made a massive counter-attack near Sokolov in order to cut the rollbahn North, used for the resupplying of the IIIrd German Army Corps. Fierce fightings gave the victory to the Germans by the capture of Henrykovka and by keeping free the strategical road. The stage is set, the battle lines are drawn, and you are in command. The rest is history.

Conditions of Victory: 6 medals The capture of Henrykovka is a temporary medal objective for the Axis player. To occupy any rollbahn hexagon is a temporary medal objective for the Allied player (only one medal).
Special Rules: - Use "Red Army" rules (Nations 2). - Use "Specialized Units" rules (Troops 2) to all Axis infantry units. Badges are not required. - Use "Heavy Anti-Tank Guns" rules (Troops 23) to the Axis artillery unit with 88 badge. - The Tenia river is fordable (Terrains 41). - Use "Blitz" rules (Actions 15).
